Results of the JAPAN BEST RAMEN AWARDS 2021 have been announced. Owners of 312 famous ramen restaurants in Japan have chosen the best ramen restaurants in Japan.

　Gourmet Innovation, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Takuma Inoue), which operates Japan’s largest website for placing ramen orders “takumen.com (https://www.takumen.com/),” has announced the results of the JAPAN BEST RAMEN AWARDS 2021, a ranking of ramen restaurants serving truly delicious ramen selected by the owners of 312 famous ramen restaurants in Japan, on December 14^th, 2021 (JST).

The award ceremony for the JAPAN BEST RAMEN AWARDS 2021 was held in Akasaka, Tokyo.
“Ramen Iida Shoten” has been selected as the best ramen restaurant in Japan by its peers.

　The JAPAN BEST RAMEN AWARDS presented by Gourmet Innovation, Inc. is a completely new award inspired by the idea that some of the best ramen that can be enjoyed today is served in restaurants that are recognized by ramen masters. The owners of 312 famous ramen restaurants across Japan were surveyed* and asked to name up to three ramen restaurants whose ramen they consider truly delicious. The results were then tabulated and ranked. On December 14^th, 2021, the owners of the top three ramen restaurants were invited to Akasaka, Tokyo, for the award ceremony.





　Topping the rankings of the JAPAN BEST RAMEN AWARDS 2021 in first place was “Ramen Iida Shoten” (Yugawara, Kanagawa), whose owner remarked that although his restaurant has won many plaudits, including from his customers, he was delighted that it has been recognized by his peers as well. “I will continue to improve my skills and do my best to make my customers happy,” he concluded with what this means for him moving forward. “Chuka-soba Tomita” (Matsudo, Chiba) and “Yakumo” (Ikejiri-ohashi, Tokyo) came in second and third, respectively.
